Since I know you were all just dying to hear.... After changing out cat litter, litter box, everything, and vigilantly staying on top of the scooping, we had zero accidents from Buttercup. Until today. I had opened up two new sleep sacks that I bought for Seth yesterday and they were laying on the couch next to me waiting to be thrown in the wash. Buttercup jumped up and peed right on them, RIGHT next to me! I was close enough to reach out and smack her! Ugh!!! She managed to get pee on both of them, brand NEW, as well as on the couch cushion. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Anyway. I needed coffee so I loaded Seth up in the car and went on a voyage to get some Nature's Miracle, since my stock was depleted from the last incident. I also picked up a cat collar and a tag because my plan was to banish Buttercup to the outdoors and get a kitten. Well then when I got home the pee had started to dry a little and I could clearly see a little pile of crystals in the middle of it. So that's a pretty strong indication that she's a little sicky with a UTI or something. Poor girl. Now I feel kind of bad I haven't done anything about it for this long. Granted, now I'm looking at probably a freaking huge vet bill but I'd rather have that than tiptoe around all the time wondering where the next piddle of cat pee is going to be found. It was only a matter of time before she hopped up in the crib and squatted I'm sure. The only bad part is now I don't get to get a kitten! Boo!
So Seth is 26 weeks old, here's his latest monkey picture. I'm getting so bad at doing these on time! I love this picture - the only problem is he kind of looks like a baby girl! I think he looks quite a bit like I did as a baby. I'll have to scan some old pictures of myself so you can see the resemblance.
