Well, almost. I still have the rest of today and tomorrow, which I am thankful for since my house is in utter chaos and destruction and I have little to no motivation right now to rectify that. Our trip to the coast was fabulous! You can check out all the pictures and somewhat of a play-by-play
here. But here are some of the highlights:
- I beat Eric 101 to 103 at the Wild Horse golf course in Pendleton
- I won $21.75 playing slots at the casino
- I think I left my one and only pair of maternity capris in the casino hotel room and we are having a heck of a time getting housekeeping to call us back
- Eric got to feel Seth kick a few times
- Our Seaside vacation rental was super ghetto, but we have already reserved more luxury accommodations for next year
- The weather in Seaside was spectacular, lots of sunshine and no rain until the day we left
- I went for a walk on the beach every single day and by the end of the week my hips no longer whimpered in protest after 30 minutes tromping through sand
- I got a wicked sunburn on my legs Wednesday that still hurts today
- Between the 5 of us on the trip we went through about 2 lbs of peanut M&Ms
- Eric and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on Friday
- Eric and Matt hunted and gathered a total of 27 crabs for the week, 20 of which all on Friday morning!
- Natalie, Andy and I managed to avoid getting caught in the pre-DMB pouring rain storm at the Gorge and stayed fairly dry throughout aside from the Coors light spilled on my coat by our drunken neighbor
- Natalie felt the baby kick!
- Despite all my walks, I still gained about 4 pounds in a week, yikes
