Traveling pants

So the Wild Horse Resort & Casino FINALLY called Eric back today and they are sending my pants! Yay!! I loved those pants :) Great news on a very long and frustrating day. Is it 5 oclock yet?

In other news, my groin issue seemed to be much better yesterday after working out on Monday and Tuesday. Then today it seems a little sore again. So I am going to hit the gym tonight again and hope that is the fix.

I have both cribs at my house now and am liking the espresso even more now that I can see it. And the wood doesnt really seem to be any more prone to scratches than the oak would be (the oak is a bit darker in real life than it was in the pictures). Plus I think it looks so much nicer in the room with the green paint. Ive given up hope that anything is going to match anyway neither the oak or the espresso match the trim or doors in the room, the glider we like is cherry, the dresser we like is some oddball cider oak finish, and I am beyond caring. Im just going to get furniture I like and call it good. So THERE! I doubt Seth will have a problem with it, at least in the beginning. And when he grows up, if he cares then I think we might have bigger problems

Good call! I gave up trying to match all my woods a long time ago. It's more important to have pieces you like. All the design shows claim that matching all your wood isn't a good idea anyway. I guess it's considered better design to have a variety that nonetheless "go" together. Although, I really need a master bedroom set. As I was putting it back together the other day I counted that I have SIX different colors of stains in there. That's a little over the top I think. We've always put off buying a set because we've always been Moving soon and we didn't want to buy something then have it get damaged in a move. And now, it's more fun to buy for baby. Maybe someday. The most annoying thing is that I don't have nightstands. We're using bar stools. Ha! It's the only thing I have right now and I don't want to buy something just to have to replace it later.
So, for now I have a very unique and varied collection. But I do love to buy pieces here and there when I find them at consignment shops and antique stores. I bought a really cool mirror (for a measley 27 bucks after haggling)the other day in a color of wood I have nowhere else in my house. I'll have to post some pics on facebook soon...
